Operated by Bewdley District Scouts & Guides. Serving Bewdley & surrounding villages between Clows Top, Buttonbridge, Trimpley, Ribbesford & Heightington. After 1990 incorporated into Bewdley & Stourport Post. In 1997 Stourport seceded from the joint operation although an exchange of post still took place. 1997/9 Bewdley post still served the enhanced area developed during the 1991-6 joint operation bounded by Mamble, Bayton, Kinlet, Pound Green, Trimpley, Wribbenhall, Blackstone, Ribbesford & Heightington. Also delivered via informal exchange to the area covered by the Kidderminster Post (qv). From 2000 were joined by Cleobury Mortimer Scouts & Guides - See "Bewdley & Cleobury Mortimer" for the joint issues.

At this time Bewdley was a district within the Scout County of Hereford & Worcester, but has since (2001) been merged with Stourport, Tenbury & Witley district to form the new "Severn & Teme" district.

1990 (issued 1st December)

Type 1, designed by J. Crabbe, printed by Norman Hills Print, Bewdley on gummed, rouletted paper in sheets of 36 (6 rows of 6) with imperforate margins (leading to eight partially perforated variations from the sides and corners). First day covers were produced useing commercial Christmas covers and dated 01 Dec 1990.

1997 (issued 25th November)

Types 2 to 6, designed by J. Crabbe, printed by Bewdley Printing Company, Kidderminster on gummed paper, rouletted about 5, in sheets of 50 (5 rows of 10), imperforate three sides of sheet (top, right & bottom, leading to two partially imperforate variations for types 2-5 and five for type 6). First day covers with full set of stamps were issued on locally designed and produced envelopes - date printed on envelope, undated FDC cancellation as P3 black. Ordinary post cancelled as P2 black.

1998 (issued 25th November)

Types 7 to 11, designed by J.Crabbe, printed by Bewdley Printing Company, Kidderminster on gummed paper, rouletted about 5, in sheets of 50 (5 rows of 10), imperforate three sides of sheet (top, right & bottom, leading to two partially imperforate variations for types 7-10 and five for type 11). First day covers with full set of stamps were issued on locally designed and produced envelopes - date printed on envelope, undated FDC cancellation as P3 black. Ordinary post cancelled as P2 black.

1999 (issued 25th November)

Types 12 to 16, designed by J.Crabbe, printed by Bewdley Printing Company, Kidderminster on gummed paper, rouletted about 5, in sheets of 50 (10 rows of 5), imperforate three sides of sheet (top, right & left, leading to two partially imperforate variations each for types 12 & 16 and one each for types 13, 14 & 15). First day covers with full set of stamps were issued on locally designed and produced envelopes - date printed on envelope, undated FDC cancellation as P2 & P3 black. Ordinary post cancelled as P2 black. Some stamps made up into a souvenir "10th Year" booklet using the sevvedge and bottom two rows of stamps from a sheet.

Type P1 - used on ordinary mail posted in Bewdley, 1990.

Type P2 - used on ordinary mail posted in Bewdley, 1997-9.

Type P3 - used on FDCs posted in Bewdley 1997-9. (issue dates were preprinted on the covers).
