Operated by the Cromwell District Scouts, serving Fenstanton, Hilton, Ramsey, Upwood, Somersham, St. Ives & Warboys, some of which later introduced their own stamps or frankings (see seperate entries for "Fenstanto & Hilton", "Hemingfords", "Ramsey", "Somersham" and "Warboys".

In 2008 the area covered was St Ives being the largest and the surrounding villages of Bluntisham, Boxworth, Colne, Connington, Earith, Elsworth, Fen Drayton, Fenstanton, Hemingfords, Hilton, Needingworth, Papworth Everard, Ramsey, Somersham, Warboys & Woodhurst.

Cromwell district is part of the Scout County of Cambridgeshire.
