1st Cowbridge Scouts are part of the Vale District within the Scout Area of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. After 2001 ceased to issue their own stamps and joined the main Cardiff area post.

Type 1, 37x35mm, used prior to 1992, exact start date unknown. Line rouletted about 7, produced in strips 2 stamps wide, left, right & bottom margins of the strip imperforate.
