Epsom Surrey, England Operated by 7th Epsom (Methodist) Scouts. From 2004 joined by the 4th Ashtead Guides. 7th Epsom Scouts are part of the Epsom and Ewell District within the Scout County of Surrey.

Type C1. Served Epsom & Ewell. No date cancel.

1989 - 1992

Type C2, with appropriate date - applied alongside type C1. Served Epsom & Ewell in 1989, extended to Ashtead in 1990 and to Tadworth in 1991.

1993 onwards

Type C3. The type of cancelling machine used from 1993 onwards can be applied directly onto envelopes or onto peelable labels which can then be attached to items that are too fragile or too thick for the feeding mechanism. These labels could obviously be regarded as a form of self-adhesive ‘stamp’ hence they are mentioned here for the sake of completeness. The sponsors mentioned below paid for leafets and posters only.
