Serving Exeter & a few surrounding villages. 5 to 10% profits given to local charities, rest to Groups. Some 20 groups involved as various times, some for only a few years. Dates show initial use of handstamps - each one was used until it wore out, not necessarily just until the next one was made (up to 1994). Only type C5 used from 1995 onwards (set of identical self inking handstamps purchased). In 2005 exchanged cards with Silverton Scouts (Tiverton District) and Lympstone & Budleigh Salterton (Exmouth & Budleigh Salterton District).

Type C2, colour variable. Circular handstamp designed by Bruce Bendell & made by a local firm. Similar to C1 but of smaller diameter.
Type C3, colour variable. Circular handstamp designed by Bruce Bendell & made by a local firm. Similar to C1 but with reset text.

Type C5. Self-inking handstamp made by 'Trodat'.
Types 1 & 2, designed by Michelle Young & Mark Bendell and printed by Charles Hunt, Cardiff in seperate sheets of 50 (10 rows of 5) self-adhesive labels on an imperforate backing sheet. This first stamp issue commemmorates 25 years of the Exeter Scout Post. First day covers were produced on specially designed envelopes. A small number were signed by the Chief Scout, Peter Duncan.
