Type C1. First day covers were produced on locally designed envelopes. About 1,320 distributed to a variety of local charities & 124 to VSU funds

Types 1 & 2, 50x35mm & 35x50mm respectively, designed by ?, printed by ? in sheets of ? (? rows of ?) self-adhesive labels. Souvenir covers bearing both stamps produced on locally designed envelopes (1990 envelopes with small extra handstamp "2ND YEAR").

1992

Type 3, 50x35mm, designed by ?, printed by ? in sheets of ? (? rows of ?) self-adhesive labels. First day covers were produced on locally designed envelopes (1990 envelopes with small extra handstamp "3RD YEAR").

"Bring your cards and payment of 20p per item to the collection point at the Congressional Church, Bourtree Place on Friday 30th November (9am to 6pm) or Saturday 1st December (9am to 12 noon). Deliveries in Hawick only."
