Scout Post is up and running ILMINSTER Scout Group has launched its festive fundraising initiative of delivering Christmas cards to friends and family who live in the town. The annual Scout Post is always popular with people as it allows them to not only help a local cause, but it is also a cost-effective way of sending your seasonal mail. The Scouts will have two delivery dates on December 11 and December 18 in which they will be able to distribute cards to people living within Ilminster itself. People wanting to use the Ilminster Scout Post can buy the special stamps at Rendell's, R. A. Dyer's and Town and Country Hardware, all of which are in Silver Street, where there will also be boxes for you to put your cards. Stamps will also be on sale from the Market Square in Ilminster on Saturday (Dec 8). |
