Operated from 1984, except 1987, serving Old Dalby, Nether Broughton & Kinoulton. Profits to Blue Peter appeal each year. From 1984 to 1986 deliveries were accompanied by a carol from the Scout band and covers received the special cachet type C1.

Type 1, 30x30mm, designed by Doug Armstrong and printed by ?. A first day cover was produced on plain envelopes in 1984 and subsequently first day of service covers were produced in following years, all on plain white envelopes.
