Operated initially by 1st Panteg (St. Marys) Scouts and joined later by 1st Griffithstown Scouts, serving New Inn, Griffithstown and Sebastopol.

1st Panteg & 1st Griffithstown Scouts are part of the Torfaen District in the Scout Area of Gwent.

2000 issue

Type 0, 42x30mm, based on the 1989 Cardiff design, printed by ? in sheets of 50 (5 rows of 10) with imperforate sheet margins, line rouletted about 7. This year Panteg used up old supplies of the now-closed Torfaen District post. As neither post used postmarks local use in 2000 cannot be distinguished from items used anywhere else in Torfaen in 1999.

Types 1 to 4, approximately 34x34mm, printed (more than 1 stamp per label) on self-adhesive labels on an imperforate backing sheet and hand-cut into individual stamps before sale.
