Operated by 1st & 2nd Parkeston Scouts, delivering in Harwich, Dovercourt and Parkeston. Operated on the honour system with customers trusted to leave the money with the cards and the Scouts then added the stamp or cachet.

1st & 2nd Parkeston Scouts are part of the Tendring District in the Scout County of Essex.

1981 - 1986

Types 1 and 2, 31x24mm & 38x25mm respectively, printed free by a local firm on rolls of self-adhesive labels on an imperforate backing strip.



1987 - 1991

1987 issue

Type 3, 25x38mm, printed by a local firm, sponsored by a local estate agent, on rolls of self-adhesive labels on an imperforate backing strip.



1992 onwards

Type C1, used instead of stamps until at least 2006.
