CUT-PRICE Christmas post deliveries are again being offered by Scouts in Rustington. The service begins on Thursday next week, when Scout postboxes will be accepting Christmas cards at many shops in the area, including Regency Patisserie and Ian Burtenshaw’s butcher’s shop in Rustington shopping centre, and at Boots Pharmacy in Finisterre Way, Beaumont Park, Littlehampton. The service covers Rustington itself and the Beaumont Park area of Littlehampton. For just 25p, as a minimum donation, cards will be delivered across the two areas and the money raised through the service will go toward 1st Rustington Scout Group’s funds. The Scout postboxes will remain open for collections until December 21 and there will be three deliveries, on December 11, 18 and 21. The service works on the honesty system, and the Scouts ask that cards and a minimum donation of 25p per card are placed in a bag and posted into the special boxes. The service is for cards addressed only to Rustington and Beaumont Park addresses.
