Operated from 1994 by Salisbury & South Wiltshire District Scouts, joined in 1995 by Salisbury Plain District Scouts (q.v. for a separate 1984/5 issue) and South West Wiltshire District Scouts.
Salisbury & South Wiltshire District Scouts are part of the Scout County of Wiltshire.

Type 1, 42x30mm, designed by Radnor VSU. Printed by Manor Press, Swindon in A5 sheets of 25 (5x5) on gummed paper line rouletted about 10 but sheet edges imperforate leading to eight part-imperforate variations. The 12p charge was divided as follows, 4p to selling Unit, 5p to delivering Unit & 3p to the District to cover expenses. A small number of souvenir cards were produced (about 30).
Type 1, 30x42mm, designed by John Wyeth. Printed by Manor Press, Swindon in A5 sheets of 25 (5x5) on gummed paper line rouletted about 10 but sheet edges imperforate leading to eight part-imperforate variations. The following map shows the area covered in 1995.

Types 4 and 5, 40x35mm, by Ian Parker (cub scout, 3rd Salisbury) & printed by Wilton Graphics, Salisbury in sheets of 30 (5 rows of 6) with imperforate top edge and very wide perforated margins on the other three sides. Line rouletted about 10.
Type 6, 40x35mm, designed by Bob Paine, District Scout Felloship & printed by Wilton Graphics, Salisbury in sheets of 30 (5 rows of 6) with imperforate top edge and very wide perforated margins on the other three sides, line rouletted about 10.
Type 7, 40x35mm, designed by Ian Parker (cub scout, 3rd Salisbury) & printed by Wilton Graphics, Salisbury in sheets of 30 (5 rows of 6) with imperforate top edge and very wide perforated margins on the other three sides. Line rouletted about 10.
While not issued until 2000 this stamp was actually printed along with the other similar items in 1998 but was not needed at that time.

Types 11 to 13, 40x35mm, designed by Nathan Liversage, Peter Liversage and Connor Miles, printed by Wilton Graphics, Salisbury in sheets of 30 (5 rows of six, each row containing 2 x type 11, 2 x type 12 & 2 x type 13. Line rouletted about 5. Type 11 won the prize for the best new stamp design in 2003 awarded by The British Private Posts Newsletter. The 2004 printing is believed to be a reprint on a slightly different paper.
Types 14 to 16, 40x35mm, designed by Nathan Liversage, Peter Liversage and Connor Miles, printed by Hierographics, Wareham, Dorset in sheets of 30 (5 rows of 6, each row containing 2 x type 14, 2 x type 15 & 2 x type 16. Line rouletted about 5.
Types 17 to 46, 34x40mm, design based on the 2007 Jamboree poster, printed by Hierographics, Wareham, Dorset in sheets of 30 (6 rows of 5), all different. Line rouletted about 14. Sold at 15p each. Individual stamps do not include the Scout District name or price in the design.

The following illustration shows a cover which was accidentally posted in a BPO mailbox instead of a Scout one. Apparently it would have automatically gone to Southampton for sorting - where the "Revenue Protection" label would have been applied - after that the local supervisor in Salisbury applied the PAID mark to cancel the surcharge and the card was delivered to it's correct destination without charge. (addressee deleted for privacy)
