Started in 2003 after the demise of the wider East Kilbride Post. Originally 1st Strathaven Scouts, now known as 39th Lanarkshire - serving the Strathaven area only.

39th Lanarkshire Scouts are part of the East Kilbride district in the Scout Area of Lanarkshire.

2003

2002 East Kilbride issue

Types 1 to 6, 25x38mm, designed by ?, printed by ? in center of 36 (6 rows of 6) self adhesive labels on a part-perforated (separated into blocks) backing sheet. The six designs are arranged in such a way as to have a complete set in each horizontal row but in a different sequence. These stamps are the ones issued by the East Kilbride post in 2002 and were used to test the viability of the restricted area service without incurring unnecessary expense.



2004

2004 issue

Type 7, 38x21mm, designed by ?, printed by ? in sheets of 65 (13 rows of 5) self adhesive labels on an imperforate backing sheet.



2005

2005 issue

Type 8, 38x21mm, designed by ?, printed by ? in sheets of 65 (13 rows of 5) self adhesive labels on an imperforate backing sheet. A souvenir cover was also produced.



2006

2006 issue

Type 9, 38x21mm, designed by ?, printed by ? in sheets of 65 (13 rows of 5) self adhesive labels on an imperforate backing sheet. A souvenir cover was also produced.



2007

2007 issue

Type 10, 38x21mm, designed by ?, printed by ? in sheets of 65 (13 rows of 5) self adhesive labels on an imperforate backing sheet. The background colour shades gradually from purple at the top to blue at the bottom of the sheet as can be seen below. A souvenir cover was also produced for the Scouting Centenary.
