Serving Beddau, Bryn Golau, Brynsadler, Brynteg, Cae'rgwerlas, Church Village, Coedely, Cross Inn, Efail Isal, Gelli-seren, Gilfach Goch, Llanharry, Llanharan, Llantrisant, Llantwit Fadre, Miskin, Pontyclun, Talbot Green, Thomastown, Tonreg, Tonyrefail, Tyn-y-bryn, Tynant, Upper Church Village and Ynysmaerdy.

The Taff Ely District is part of the Scout Area of Mid Glamorgan.
