6th Whitstable is a group within the Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay District in the Scout County of Kent.
Type 1, 40x77mm, printed by ? in sheets of ? (? rows of ?), a first day cover was produced on a plain white envelope.

Type P2, used in 1985.
Type P3, used intermittently from 1986.
Type P4, used intermittently from 1987.
A single line datestamp as type P3 or P4 in varying colours was used on covers from 1986 onwards but it is not clear wheter it was applied by a collector or the post as the same datestamp (in the same colour/date combinations) can be seen on several Kent posts.
